Turning data into decisions
I'm a data scientist and computational linguist with a maths and engineering background. I build systems that hold up in production, from framing the problem to modelling data and shipping tools people actually use.
I've cut government document review from hours to minutes with NLP, built Power BI models that sharpened forecasting and workforce planning, and shipped LLM apps for summarization and moderation. I'm now after a data science or ML role in Vancouver.

- Built and deployed a modular NLP pipeline extracting metadata from 2,000+ scanned PDFs using ML classifiers and quantized LLMs.
- Engineered duplicate detection (ROUGE + page-length heuristics) to flag redundant records with high precision.
- Aligned document taxonomy and release rules with stakeholders, combining rule-based and ML classification.
Data Analyst
- Built a SQL-backed Quote Conversion Dashboard in Power BI that improved sales forecasting.
- Designed a Trade Pool Model with dynamic GAP calculations to optimize workforce allocation.
- Created a drill-through "Duckie Flow" model to track orders and surface bottlenecks.

- Led weekly Calculus and Linear Algebra tutorials for 40+ students, plus course materials and grading.
